Grilled Polyface chicken hearts & livers, local grilled okra, grilled green onions, sautéed brussels sprouts with toasted almond slices. Add wine & chocolate. Our dinner tonight!
Last dinner in Charlottesville for two/three weeks! One of my favorite parts of leaving for a while is having to eat everything that’s in the fridge – which included some delicious Polyface chicken hearts and livers. I seared these with some of Disha’s Kitchen BBQ Spice Rub (yes, I just used it as a spice). I feel like a true locavore!
