Last night Chris and I ventured all the way to Staunton, VA for their Restaurant Week. Our restaurant of choice was Zynodoa because we had heard such great things about and let me tell you – we were not disappointed. As with other Restaurant Week experiences, we expected smaller plates and only tastes of their actual meals, but oh no, not here. Every plate we received (aside from my oyster appetizer, which only had six oysters – I could have eaten about 20 more) was not only a perfect portion but also so freakin’ delicious. So delicious in fact, that I forgot to take my camera out to photograph the meal – I just wanted to eat everything they put in front of me. It was only until we got the desserts that I remembered and by that point, they were already half-eaten. If anyone gets a chance to try them out, I highly recommend them.
